Uniform Curriculum is against constitution, Wifaqul Madaris Al-Shia
Shiite News: Wifaqul Madaris AlShia demanded government to review new curriculum by focusing common topics and avoid issues of hatred and disappointments among the nation.
On this issue a meeting was held under chairmanship of Raisul Wifaq Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi in which it was made clear that new curriculum collides with Quran and Sunnah, Constitution of Pakistan as well as National Unity.
He said that in new syllabus topic of Ahle Byat and Umhatul Momineen is almost removed. Events of Ghazwa-e-Khandaq, Khyber as well as character of Hazrat Abu Talib from first meeting of Islam to invite to Quresh have almost disappeared. Similarly there is no chapter on the characters of Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain Alaihim-us-Salam.
He expressed hope that government will review this syllabus and make it free form all prejudice. Shia sect has identified disputed areas of curriculum which must be addressed and corrected before any public reaction.
