Shia Ulema seeks protest on 1st July for their right in MUB, Allama Iqtidar Naqvi

Shiite News: Allama Iqtidar Naqvi, Secretary General of MWM Punjab expressing great concern over unequal Shia representation in government organizations including Mutahida Ulema Board Punjab said such situation is questionable. He also demanded to government to ensure equal representation of all sects in such forums.

He further said that we believe in a peaceful and moderate Pakistan but not ready to compromise on our faith and dignity.

He warned government that if our grievances will not be addressed we will come out on roads on 1st July along with all Shia scholars of Punjab in protest and would never step back from our stand for taking legal, constitutional and democratic rights. In this regard we are ready to make every peaceful effort.
