Medical examination of victim of Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman’s sexual abuse completed

Shiite News: Student Sabir Shah and Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman were underwent medical examination. The accused and the affected student have been medically examined by the Punjab Forensic Science Agency, whose report will be received by the police in a few days.

Police said that the DNA of the accused has also been entered in the data bank of PFSA. The medical order of the accused and the student was ordered by the court. Accused Aziz-ur-Rehman is currently in police custody on a four-day physical remand which will be re-presented in court on Thursday.

It may be recalled that the accused Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman is accused of abusing a student. The video of Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman abusing a student came to light. After the video came to light, the Police had registered a case against Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman.

Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman, a close associate of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, was expelled from the madrassa after the incident of student abuse, while the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam also suspended Mufti Aziz’s membership because of video scandal came to light.
