Shiite News: Allama Nazir Abbas Taqwi, leader of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, while commenting on the recent budget, said that the budget for the financial year 2021 has disappointed the people. The people were expecting that the government would present a budget keeping in view the pain and hardships of the common people but in this budget the people were completely ignored.

Allama Nazir Abbas said that the current budget will increase the rate of inflation to make people disappointed. He added that Mini budgets were presented by the government from time to time at different times throughout last year and the government kept giving lollipop of false and baseless promises that it would provide relief to the people to keep them satisfied but at the end of the day public got no relief at all.

He further said that the burden of inflation has made life difficult for the people. An increase of just Rs 2,000 only in salaries is an immense injustice to the common people in view of inflation. The minimum wages of the workers should have been Rs 30,000. It was the prime responsibility of the government to present a people friendly budget but it did not happen.

“We reject a budget that is not a poor-friendly. The government should formulate a comprehensive policy to provide relief to common people and solve their problems,” he added. Despite enjoying three years of government, rulers could not give any relief to the people except the accusers. The people are worried, no one cares about the people which is really a moment of concern.
