Shiite News: Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, Provincial Secretary General, Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Sindh, while reacting strongly against the shortage of corona vaccine from different parts of the country including Karachi and reported incidents of fake registration of people in NADRA records without vaccination. He added that instead of focusing on its administrative matters, the National Command Operations Center was trying to aggravate the problems of the people.

He further said that the NCOC is in the forefront of obstructing religious gatherings, educational process and other important matters including business on the other hand it is neglecting the most important responsibilities such as provision of vaccines and transparent registration of beneficiaries.

He elaborated that such irresponsible behavior raised many questions about the ongoing vaccination process in Pakistan. He said, Covid 19 is a pandemic, If the vaccination process is not made transparent, people who have received the full dose of the vaccine may have difficulty to travel abroad.

He reiterated that the NCOC had to pay special attention to important administrative matters so that no finger could be pointed at the patriotic efforts against Corona. He said that the closure of educational institutions was a incredible loss of students’ education. This has not only severely affected the educational activities but also put the employment of millions of people associated with this sector, which is currently at stake. The buying and selling and recreational activities across the country continued as usual during Corona. There was no reduction in public transport. Pakistan Railways, public transport and other means of transportation continued to be used by the people as usual.

He added that only banning educational institutions was an attempt to paralyze the education system. The online teaching method could not replace the existing education system and the benefits that were required could not be obtained. There are forty-one countries in the world where teaching continued as usual. However, justifying the need for billions of rupees in funds to open government schools in Pakistan under SOPs, private schools were also forcibly closed, but it is proved a serious mistake. Our future generations will also suffer the consequences of wrong and frivolous policies.
