Injustice against Shian-e-Haider-e-Karrar, MWM writes letter to Secretary Mahakma-e-Auqaf in protest
Shiite News: Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi, Provincial Secretary General of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Punjab, has cited a letter to the Secretary Mahakma-e-Auqaf on the injustices done to the Shia sect in the Muttahida Ulema Board. The text of the letter expressed concern over the 50 per cent reduction in the number of Shia scholars in the Muttahida Ulema Board, contrary to previous traditions.
In this letter, Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi has demanded from the Secretary Auqaf that the number of Shia scholars should be immediately equal to the number of scholars of other sects. He also demanded that a committee be formed immediately on the issue of injustice and disciplinary action be taken against Secretary Mahakma-e-Auqaf personnel who mistreated Shian-e-Haider-e-Karrar.
It may be recalled that in the previous sessions of the Muttahida Ulema Board, four Ulemas from all sects were included as professional representatives. However, after the appointment of a biased chairman in the Ulema Board, the number of Deoband Ulemas was increased to ten The number of Ahle Hadith scholars has been kept at six and the number of Shia scholars at five. The people of Jaffaria Pakistan are very angry with the Punjab administration and the Secretary Mahakma-e-Auqaf over this injustice and are demanding immediate redressal of this deliberate mistake.
