Shiite News:  Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, head of the Council of Shiite Ulema of Pakistan, says that the Kuwaiti parliament’s ban on trade policies with the Zionist state is a commendable step against Israeli aggression. Children and senior citizens have been buried alive under the rubble weighing thousands of tons. When will the global conscience be awakened? In such a dire situation of the nation, the resolution presented in KP is a deliberate attempt to increase sectarianism.

He expressed these views while commenting on the report of the Palestinian Human Rights Commission “Diwan-e-Mazalim”, the International Day for the Victims of Aggression on June 4 and the Kuwaiti parliament’s law banning trade with Israel.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that we had drawn the attention to raise the voice of protest in favor of resolutions, dossiers and the oppressed, but the move should be taken towards other practical steps as well. He added that the bill by the Kuwaiti parliament to make trade with Israel a punishable offense is very welcome, which would go a step further in discouraging the Zionist aggressor and supporting the oppressed Palestinians.

He said that the report of the Palestinian Human Rights Commission “Diwan-ul-Mazalim” had made eye-opening revelations where many other open abuses and atrocities were mentioned while it was stated that many women, children and senior citizens were living under the rubble weighing thousands of tons. Buried is a dark chain of oppression that has not stopped since 1948.

He said that June 4 is celebrated globally as an expression of solidarity with the victim children of aggression. Doesn’t the international conscience see sobbing children and small souls in other places including Palestine and Kashmir? Is mercy over in the world chambers? Do such atrocities not lead to extremist attitudes? He once again called on countries and societies, including the United Nations, to uphold and play a responsible role in eradicating this oppression. The dream of peace in the other world will never be embarrassing.

He said in a resolution tabled in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly that in addition to the plight of Muslims, it should be borne in mind that the KP Assembly deliberately tried to fan the flames of sectarianism across the country by introducing a resolution on sectarian legislation. “So, O you of insight, learn a lesson.” In his message on World Environment Day, he said that in addition to statements in this regard, other measures are needed to combat environmental pollution.
