Punishment for contesting elections against PPP, case registered against 5 brothers of MWM Youth, 2 arrested

Shiite News: In the recent by-election held in Matli, the local vadera took revenge for the stand of the candidate of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen against the Pakistan People’s Party. False and unjustified case registered against the secretary of Wahdat Youth Matli district and his 4 brothers, 2 brothers arrested and 3 declared fugitives.

According to details, the leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Matli district has come under fire after Asad Abbas Leghari, a candidate of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), stood against his candidate Dada Muhammad Haliputto in the recent by-election for PS-70. In retaliation for the same crime, Wadera Sardar Zakir Ali Chhalgari has registered a false case against Hajid Ali Chhalgari, secretary of Wahdat Youth Matli and his four brothers at Matli City police station.

According to sources, as a result of PPP’s retaliatory action, Hajaid Ali Chhalgari and his brother Raziq Ali Chhalgari have been arrested so far while the other three named brothers have been declared fugitives by the police in the FIR.

Sources said that a false case of land dispute has been framed against the MWM workers named in the FIR registered in the name of Dera Sardar Zakir Ali Chalgari with the backing of PPP. In fact, the only issue is to contest the elections against the PPP’s vadera shahi.
