Condemnation resolutions and statements are welcome, it is not possible for Kashmiri and Palestinian victims to get their rights without practical steps, Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: Head of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi says that Israel and India have crossed all the boundaries of oppression in Kashmir and Palestine, keeping in view the basic principles of Pakistan’s struggle along with statements, resolutions, condemnation meetings and dossiers. We have to move towards practical steps in Palestine and Kashmir. Without practical steps such as severing political, diplomatic, parliamentary, trade and social ties with Israel, India and their alliance, the oppressed cannot get their due right.

He expressed these views while commenting on the recent situation in Occupied Kashmir, Occupied Jerusalem and the adoption of a Pakistani resolution in the UN Human Rights Council on Israeli war crimes. He said that the adoption of the resolution by a majority vote in the UN Human Rights Council is welcome, however, statements, resolutions, condemnation meetings and dossiers alone will not solve the problems but more steps are needed in this regard.

By quoting resolution of Pakistan, March 1940 along with statement of pioneer of Pakistan Qaid e Azam, Muhammd Ali Jinnah on 27th August, 1948, Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi added “We are going through an equally dangerous and difficult period, but I feel we can power our voice through unity of Islam. He also referred Pakistan to step its efforts for the Palestinian cause.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi stressed that human friendly states, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, should be brought together to increase pressure on India, Israel and their supporters through political, diplomatic and parliamentary efforts. Then, through this alliance, it will be decided to sever political, diplomatic, parliamentary and trade relations with said usurpers. Until such practical steps are taken, the oppressed state and its supporters cannot bring real relief to the oppressed nations nor can the people of these regions have the dawn of freedom.
