Shiite News: According to the announcement of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, Head of Tehreek-e-Nifaz Fiqh Jafaria, on the occasion of the International Day of Demolition of Janat-ul-Baqi, TNFJ Regional Council Multan organized a peaceful protest rally from Press Club which was led by Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Provincial Vice President Allama Syed Baqir Ali Naqvi, Maulana Mujahid Hussain Naqvi, Syed Qamar Hasnain Naqvi, Syed Mohtasham Abbas Naqvi, Raqib Hasnain Raqib, Syed Saadat Kazmi, Syed Naqvi, Hashmat Raza Bahlol, Syed Alamdar Hussain Naqvi Salar Hawli Mureed Shah, Syed Azhar Abidi, Syed Hashim Rizvi and other leaders.
Protesters held pictures of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, various banners and placards with demands for the reconstruction of Janat al-Baqi. On this occasion, participants offered prayers, held mourn congregation to observe sorrow on the demolitions of shrines of beloved to Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Addressing the participants of the rally, Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi said that if the Muslim Ummah had halted the demolition of Janat-ul-Baqi and Janat-ul- Mua’la, no one would have dared to set fire to Jerusalem. He said that the 8th Shawwal protest was not against any caste or sects but for the protection of the great Islamic and human heritage.
He called on all international organizations, including the United Nations, to pay attention to the reconstruction and restoration of the mausoleum of Janat al-Baqi and Janat al-Mua’la, because it is secret to bring betterment, prosperity, dignity and guidance for entire humanity.
He also called on the government of Pakistan to further strengthen religious ties with the brotherly Islamic country of Saudi Arabia at the diplomatic level by urging its government to build the historical monuments of Janat al-Baqi and Janat al-Mua’la, in accordance with Jonejo-Maussavi agreement established on 21st June 1985.
He strongly appealed to the UNESCO (whose responsibility is to protect archeology), the ICC, the European Union, the OIC, the Arab League and SAARC to take up this important global, humanitarian, constitutional and religious issue. Drawing attention to the solution of the issue, he reiterated that entire humanity, especially the the deprived, the oppressed and the downtrodden nations should strive for the restoration of their rights, as well as for the restoration of Mausoleums of Janat-ul-Baqi, Janat-ul-Mua’la, otherwise be ready for other sufferings. According to the Qur’anic command that you will see your deeds whether good or evil even it would be weight of a minor particle.
