Multan: Police has crossed all the limits of cruelty due to Procession of Youm e Ali A.S.

Shiitenews: Yazidi act of Punjab police, 14 cases registered against founders, organizers, clerics and procession participants of Youm e Ali A.S in Multan, 55 mourners arrested.

On the occasion of Youm e Ali A.S, 12 mourning large and small processions were held in the city. At the behest of the Punjab government, the district police file a case in which they included the names of the organizers of all the processions, founders of the processions, scholars and important personalities. In Multan, police has launched a case against 200 nominees and more than 300 unidentified persons.

Among the nominees are Secretary General of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen South Punjab Allama Iqtdar Hussain Naqvi, Mazin Abbas Chawan, Akhlaq Haider Siddiqui, Daim Raza Hamdani, Asghar Abbas Naqvi, Mehr Sakhawat Ali, Zawar Hussain, Iqbal Hussain, Niaz Karbala, Ulfat Raza, Hashmat Raza. Bahlol and others are included.

Police have made arrests from Sutri Witt, Suraj Miani and Mohalla Jhak since last night. More than 40 people have been arrested from Sutri Witt. According to sources, these FIRs have been filed on order of Punjab government.
