Maulana Asif Hussaini and his wife and minor children detained under the unending biased and discriminatory policy of the government.
The family had returned from Iran via Taftan border crossing. As soon as he entered Pakistan, border officials detained him, his wife and three minor children.

According to reports, Balochistan government had ordered for his detention without any valid reasons.
Maulana Asif Hussaini has been getting religious education at Qom Shia Islamic religious seminary.
He belongs to Quetta where he also leads Muntizran-e-Mahdi Organisation.
Besides, the government also named him in Exit Control List (ECL).
For the last 24 hours, he, his wife and three minor children have remained under detention at Taftan border town.
Meanwhile, Shia Islamic parties and ordinary Pakistani citizens lament discrimination and bias that aims to victimize patriot Shia citizens.
They demanded immediate release of the entire family, including Maulana Asif Hussaini.
Moreover, they demanded an end to uncalled for questioning from patriot young Islamic cleric.
