Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi led Fajr prayers, while Allama Mukhtar Imami led Zohr and Asr prayers at the sit-in camp.

Many Shia Muslims view the sit in also a protest against the fifth column who brought attacks on military headquarters across the country.

They believe that such elements subject innocent Pakistanis to enforced disappearance to divert attention from outlawed takfiri outfits’ terrorists.

Meanwhile, the families began sit-in protest on Friday demanding end to enforced disappearance of innocent Shia Muslims immediately.

Shia families of the victims of enforced disappearance marched from Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Khorasan.

They first passed through inside road to reached the Numaish Chowrangi and venue of sit-in in front of mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

Children, wives and mothers of the victims are sitting there to register their protest against enforced disappearance.

Unfortunately, neither the state authorities nor the rights organizations bothered to lend ears to legitimate demands of these protesters.

They have been vainly protesting since long.

Meanwhile, protest movement for Shia victims of enforced disappearance launched across Pakistan on Friday.

The joint action committee for Shia Missing Persons have launched the new phase of their protest movement.

According to reports, demos and rallies held across the country after Friday prayers.
