Ummat e Wahida Pakistan support protest against enforced disappearance, which joint action committee for Shia Missing Persons announced.

The UWP founder leader Allama Amin Shaheedi appealed to all Pakistanis to support the protest for victims of enforced disappearance.

Moreover, he demanded unconditional release of all victims of enforced disappearance immediately.

He said that Islamic Republic of Pakistan shows Pakistan a republic; therefore, he suggested rule of law must remain incorporated in it.

But he lamented that some elements subject innocent people to enforced disappearance.

Allama Amin Shaheedi said that the cruel captors don’t show mercy despite the multiplied sufferings of families of the victims.

He further noted that parents die early, while longing painstakingly for return of their bread earners.

Moreover, Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan leader made clear that nobody supports criminals but law clearly states how to deal with criminals.

However, he noted enforced disappearance as a treason and enmity with Pakistan in the guise of self-misunderstood patriotism.

He said that the country needs reforms of flawed system instead of enforced disappearance.

Meanwhile, Committee for Shia Missing Persons asks supporters to gather on Friday at Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Khorasan.

Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi of the joint action committee for Shia Missing Persons made this appeal.

In a video message, he asked supporters to gather at the aforesaid venue by Friday evening.

The committee had already announced beginning of protest movement against enforced disappearance from Friday April02.

Pakistanis also call victims of enforced disappearance as missing persons.

Joint Action Committee for Shia Missing Persons made this announcement, while a addressing a joint press conference.

Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Allama Syed Nazir Taqvi, Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi and Allama Aqeel Moosa, Allama Haider Abbas Abedi made this announcement.

Allama Sadiq Jafari and representatives of other Shia Islamic parties also addressed and supported the protest.
