Shia Ulema Council’s district president martyred
President of Shia Ulema Council, district Qambar-Shahdadkot chapter, succumbed to wounds in Karachi on Wednesday.
Haji Shafqat Sheerazi was 60 years old. He was seriously injured due to firing of nasbi terrorists of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba in Shahdadkot city.
He was taken to a private hospital in Karachi for medical treatment. He embraced martyrdom there. He was a known social worker in the area alongside his religious activities.
Allama Sajid Naqvi, Chief of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, led the namaz-e-janaza of Haji Shafqat Sheerazi that was held at Khorasan Ghusl Khana near mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Shia organisations have condemned the murder and demanded of the government to take stern action against the murderers.
