MWM preparing for local council elections in Layyah district of Punjab province.
The South Punjab chapter of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has begun exploring its electoral position ahead of local council elections.

In this regard, MWM’s delegation visited Layyah district.
Their delegation comprised of MWM South Punjab political affairs secretary Mehr Sakhawat Ali, Allama Qazi Nadir Alvi and Nadeem Abbas Kazmi.
During their visit, they held meetings with MWM Layyah district chapter officials.
They briefed them on their future plans regarding local council elections and also got input.

Specially, they vowed to serve oppressed humanity through municipal forums of the government if people elect them.
The South Punjab chapter’s leaders had earlier visited Ali Pur to review the ground situation there as well.
Meanwhile, MWM Pakistan leadership is also exploring its options eyeing the municipal elections.
