Jamaat e Islami chief vows to strengthen Pakistan Iran relations during a meeting with ambassador Seyyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini.
The ambassador of Iran met JI Pakistan chief Senator Siraj ul Haq in Islamabad on Monday.

Senior officials of the Jamaat-e-Islami and Ehsan Khazaei, Cultural Consular of Iranian embassy in Pakistan also attended the meeting.
Both sides discussed bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan and developments in the region.
Moreover, they discussed and Palestine and the challenges to Islamic world, Afghanistan and the phenomenon of Islamophobia.
Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan emir praised the leadership of Imam Khomeini. He took pride in friendship with Iran.
He further said that despite dissatisfaction of some parties we want to strengthen our relations with Iran.
JI lauds Iran stance on Kashmir
Senator Siraj al-Haq stressed that Jamaat-e-Islami will spare no effort to strengthen unity among Muslims.
He proposed that Iran, Pakistan and Turkey should play a stronger role in defending Islamic values.
Furthermore, he called for the three nations stronger role in combating Islamophobia and preventing Western conspiracies to abuse the freedom of expression.
Siraj further said that Milli Yakjehti Council (Pakistan National Solidarity Council (a coalition of 30 political and religious groups) will play more effective role in the future.
He praised the Islamic Republic of Iran’s strong support for Pakistan’s regional positions, especially solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
The JI chief also called for the development of bilateral cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad on Afghanistan to help end war and bloodshed in the common neighbor.

Meanwhile, ambassador Hosseini stressed the need to strengthen unity of Muslims to confront common threats such as Islamophobia.
He said Zionist regime is the actual reason of instability in the region.
Ambassador Hosseini praised the positions of the Jamaat-e-Islami, especially Senator Siraj-ul-Haq, in condemning Islamophobia.
He also lauded them for openly opposing a compromise conspiracy with the occupying regime (Israel).
Seyyed Hosseini highlighted neighborhood of Iran and Pakistan as the manifestation of wisdom and interest of God. He vowed that no power can take away this neighborhood from us.
Furthermore, he said Iranian nation recently celebrated the 42nd anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The celebration continues from the first day of the victory of the revolution until today and despite sanctions and threats from enemies the Iranian people continue to move strongly.
He lamented that the foreign intervention has led to the destruction of infrastructure and deaths of thousand people in some countries of the region.
The diplomat was referring to the deplorable situation in the Middle East, especially in Islamic countries such as Yemen, Syria, Libya and Afghanistan.

Mr Hosseini further said that Afghanistan continues to witness havoc which the US intervention wreaked.
Particularly, Afghanistan suffered from destruction, increase in drug trafficking and extremism.
The ambassador said fortunately, Iran and Pakistan have shown good sensitivity by announcing their clear positions against Islamophobia and conspiracy to compromise with the Zionists.
Moreover, he noted the usurper Zionist regime as the biggest enemy of Islam and Muslims. However, he lamented, some countries are overtaking each other to normalize relations with this regime.
