Specially, youth groups organized events across the country; besides, elders and notables.

Somewhere, they cute cakes and somewhere they played revolutionary songs.

Elsewhere, speakers at the anniversary events elaborated how Iranians brought about epoch-making Islamic revolution.

Furthermore, they also highlighted role of dynamic leadership of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Rouhullah Mousavi Imam Khomeini.

The organisers of these events also distributed sweets to mark the celebrations.

Notably, Pakistani nation has special attachment to Iran’s Islamic revolution since its inception.

Prominent diplomat, bureaucrat Mukhtar Masood who happened to be an eminent literary figure authored an eyewitness account.

He was serving at the ECO (RCD) secretariat in Tehran in late 1970s.

Prior to Mukhtar Masood, eminent Pakistani bureaucrat and a noted writer and intellectual Altaf Gauhar had already written on Imam Khomeini-led struggle.

Due to his piece, Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi detested him. Altaf Gauhar had served during the tenure of former military ruler General Ayub Khan.

Let alone Shia Islamic parties, Syed Moudoodi-led Jamaat-e-Islamic had publicly supported and even owned Iranian Islamic revolution.

One of the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan had visited France and called on Imam Khomeini who was spending life in exile there.
