MWM Multan hosts congregational pray for national hero Ali Sadpara, the mountaineer who had gone missing for last three days.

The prays en masse held outside Multan Press Club where the participants prayed may God save Mohammad Ali Sadpara.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Multan deputy secretary general Saleem Abbas Siddiqui and Principal Jamia Mutahri Shaheed, Allama Qazi Nadir Alvi led the pray.

Moreover, Engineer Sakhawat Ali and Fakhar Naseem Siddiqui of MWM also attended the event.

They lauded Pakistani mountaineer Mohammad Ali Sadpara as national hero. Furthermore, they said that Pakistan army’s rescue efforts deserve praise.

However, they suggested that rescue efforts should continue until ascertaining his whereabouts.

Earlier, Shia mountaineer Mohammad Ali Sadpara raised Pakistani and Hussaini flags at K2.

Pakistani Shia Muslim mountaineer set new record of climbing and reaching K2, the second highest mountain of the world without oxygen during winter season.

However, his son Sajid Sadpara feels no chance of his survival due to hard weather.

He said this, while talking to the media in Skardu.

Furthermore, he said that the chances that his father stays alive are next to none. He suggested that now operation should aim to bring back his body because of dim chances of surviving at 8,000 metres [after having gone missing for two to three days.

Moreover, Sajid said that a team of four climbers began their climb at around 11pm-12am on February 5 (the night between Thursday and Friday).

He lamented that unfortunately he remained without oxygen and at a height of about 8,200 metres in the winter.

Besides, he feared about his physical and mental health and returned.
