Muzaffar Kirmani remembered on 20th martyrdom anniversary on February 05.

His family and admirers held anniversary related events in Karachi.

Nasiran-e-Hussain Scouts held a scout parade at his grave in the graveyard. Fateha khwani also held there.

Meanwhile, friends of Kirmani Shaheed held mourning congregations in commemoration of Muzaffar Kirmani and Nazeer Abbas.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan deputy secretary general Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi addressed as key note speaker.

He praised great martyr Muzaffar Kirmani as a faithful model and symbol of steadfastness.

He further underlined Muzaffar Kirmani as a practical person who continued to play his role tirelessly.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal said Muzaffar Kirmani never sat with comfort and never expressed disappointment.

He said that remembering great martyr of such stature shows awakening of youth of our time.

Terrorists assassinated Mr. Kirmani and Nazeer Abbas near Nishtar Park in Soldier Bazaar Karachi on February 05, 2001.

Meanwhile,observers said that they assassinated Muzaffar Kirmani in a bid to stop revolutionary impacts of ideology of Islamic revolution.

Mr. Kirmani had served Pakistan and humanity as a leading visionary social and religious figure.

Notably, he had founded a matami Anjuman Lashkar-e-Imam Zamana. He was one of those who highlighted the issue of Palestine and al Quds in late 1970s and early 1980s.

Moreover, Muzaffar Kirmani had led early Quds Day rallies as well.

Then he entered into mainstream politics. He also had contested election as TNFJ candidate. He also served as an active leader of TJP.

Finally, he founded his own think-tank to preach Islamic ideology. The pious soul remained misfit in the society where intolerance and hatred overshadowed everything in 1980s and 1990s.
