Bibi Umm ul Banin anniversary being observed
Amirul Maumineen Ali had married to Hazrat Fatima Kulabiyah.
However, he married her after the passing away of Bibi Fatima Zahra (AS) also known as Umm ul Baneen (Banin).
Specially, Hazrat Ali’s four sons from Bibi Ummul Banin embraced martyrdom prior to the martyrdom of Imam Hussain in the battle of Karbala. Hazrat Abbas Ibn Ali (AS) was one of them.
According to traditions, Shia Muslims mourn on the martyrdom (demise) anniversaries of eminent figures of Islamic history.
On 13th Jamadi-us-Sani, Shia Muslims hold mourning congregations in commemoration of Bibi Ummul Banin on her death anniversary.
To express grief, Shias wear black clothes, hoist black flags.
They also beat their chest reciting nohas and marsias.
Besides, Shia Islamic scholars highlight sacred life of Bibi Fatima Kulabiyah Ummul Banin.
Notably, Shia Islam follows, reveres and adores Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his Ahle Bayt (AS).
Moreover, Shias revere those eminent figures who remained loyal to them.
Due to this ideology, Shia Muslims keep memories of Islamic heroes and their loyal followers alive to date.
But the world attention always stay restricted to Ashura and Arbaeen.
Because, they see mammoth congregations and rallies in commemoration of Imam Hussain-led Martyrs of Karbala.
However, Shia Muslims have also globalized the annual mourning of Ayyam-e-Fatimiyyah.
