Two ex-councillors quit HDP in protest against blasphemous remarks which Zaman Dehqanzadeh of the party made.

Mohammad Raza Hazara and Akhtar Mohammad Jafari rejected and condemned the remarks of Dehqanzadeh.
Furthermore, they reiterated their reverence and allegiance for Imam Mehdi.
They wasted no time in announcing their parting ways with so-called Hazara Democratic Party.
Another former councillor from the HDP namely Nadir Arbab also rejected the sacrilegious remarks. He had attended the press conference of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen against the desecration of sanctity of Imam Mehdi.
