Shia Youths Prevent MQM from hoisting its flag in funeral procession

Shia youths prevented the MQM’s activists from hoisting their party flag in the funeral procession of two martyred Shia Muslims on Tuesday.
After namaz-e-janaza at Masjid-e-Khair ul Amal, the mourners took the bodies for burial. As soon as they came out of mosque, an MQM activist tried to hoist the MQM’s flag, Shia youths prevented him. They also pushed MQM’s MPA namely Imamuddin Shehzad expressing their displeasure. MQM said that they arrived there to attend the funeral of one of its activists there. They said that Zia Mehdi was MQM’s member. However, people there controlled the situation.    

Earlier, Allama Shabeeh ur Raza Zaidi, led the namaz-e-janaza. Allama Furqan Haider Abedi, noha khwans Nadeem Sarwar, Irfan Haider and many people attended namaz-e-janaza. Noha khwan  Nadeem Sarwar, S.M. Naqi and other noha khwans recited nohas.
