She expressed sorrow and grief, while calling the Mach massacre as painful and saddening.

Furthermore, she called it the worst sort of brutality which terrorists perpetrated against Hazara Shia coalmine workers.

Senator Sherry Rehman recalled that during PPP’s tenure, then Prime Minister and ministers of the time had sat with sit-in protesters.

Moreover, she said that now the present government need to heal their wounds.

She asked that the government should tell what steps they have taken so far to protect Hazara Shia community.

The PPP Senator further suggested that the Balochistan Chief Minister should also go to the sit-in camp in Quetta.

Meanwhile, according to international and Arab media, ISIS Daesh claimed responsibility for massacre of Hazara Shia coalminers.

However, Pakistanis know well that outlawed Sipah Sahaba (ASWJ) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi serve as local facilitators of Daesh (ISIS).
