Sit in across Karachi to express solidarity with Hazara Shia families of martyrs of Mach coalmine tragedy.

First, sit in began at Abbas Town Karachi against massacre of Hazara Shia coalminers enter second day today (Tuesday).

They sat at main road despite cold weather under open sky throughout last night.

Later, reports from North Karachi and Jafar-e-Tayyar Malir had it they too began sit-in.

Now, protesters have reached Numaish Chowrangi to begin a token sit-in protest outside mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

Hazara Shia massacre at Mach coalmines has compelled the families of the victims and their supporters to begin sit-in protest.

To express solidarity with the families of the martyrs, MWM and ISO have held protest rallies across Pakistan.

However, Abbas Town Karachi’s residents came out on streets to stage sit-in.

Although rest of Pakistan’s peaceful Shia Muslim community also had planned sit in, yet, they deferred it due to the government’s talks with the bereaved families.

However, Balochistan’s provincial government and Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s visits and meetings failed.

Now, sit-in protest expanding across Karachi and rest of Pakistan.

Shia Muslims across the country condemned the callousness regarding the ferocious terrorist attack on coalmine laborers.

Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid had returned Islamabad.

He has briefed Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding his talks with the Hazara Shia elders he held during Quetta visit.

Reportedly, Now, Prime Minister may visit Quetta to meet the protesting elders and the families at the sit-protest camp.
