Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s Alam Hazara (Abdul Alim), Safdar and Syed Ali Shah had filed their nomination forms for the January 18, 2014 local government election on December 29, 2013.

Then SSP-East Pir Muhammad Shah said that four assailants riding two motorbikes sprayed a yellow cab with bullets in the Dalmia area.

MWM’s electoral candidates came under attack, while returning after filing nomination papers.

While the woman remained unhurt in the attack, the three men sustained serious bullet wounds.

Meanwhile, doctors declared two of the injured dead when rushed to a nearby private hospital, while third succumbed to wounds during treatment.

Aziz Bhatti SHO Ghulam Hussain Pirzado identified the victims as Abdul Aleem, Safdar and Syed Ali Shah, all aged between mid-20s and 40s.

According to MWM spokesman, the (aforesaid) political party’ in Karachi was threatening the MWM for their decision to contest the election.

However, families and the party long for justice in this triple murder case.

But the government and the judiciary fail to bring culprits to book.
