MWM and ISO vow political role of Shia Muslims for betterment of Pakistan.
The two Shia Islamic parties made this decision during a joint meeting of their top overseeing bodies in Islamabad.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan secretary general Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari presided over the meeting at MWM secretariat.

Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) and MWM leaders also issued a joint statement after the meeting.
They also made pledge to make joint effort to strengthen national security and intra-Muslim unity besides promoting interfaith harmony.
Furthermore, they agreed to revival and promotion of ideology of Allama Seyed Arif Hussain al Hussaini in society.
While citing the ideology of Allama Arif Hussaini, they underlined Islam and politics remains inseparable.

Notably, they said that political matters affect religious matters and religious matters also remain related to political issues.
Therefore, they stated that they cannot remain indifferent to national and international issues and developments.
However, they pledged to advance political ideology of Allama Arif Hussaini.

Furthermore, the MWM and ISO underscored political role of Shia Muslims as indispensable for the progress, development and betterment of Pakistan.
Both sides reiterated their stance that underlines azadari as jugular vein of Shia Muslims. The vowed they would defend this sacred ritual at all cost.
They agreed on mutual cooperation on aforesaid points as well as organizational education and training and in other spheres.
Moreover, they reiterated their support to oppressed humanity across the world, including Palestine and Kashmir.
They rejected occupation of Palestine and Kashmir as illegal and illegitimate, which they vowed to never recognize as legitimate.
