Senator Mushahid underlines no recognition of Israel as state policy of Pakistan.

Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs stated, while addressing a webinar held in Turkish city Istanbul.

Senator Mushahid Hussain Seyed spoke to the virtual event “Why Pakistan won’t Recognize Israel.”

Furthermore, he said that Pakistan cannot recognize Israel because of its ideology.

Particularly he referred to the ideological opposition to imperialism, colonialism, and atrocious oppression.

He said that Pakistan support for Palestine and Kashmir based on that ideology.

Moreover, he said that the State Policy of Pakistan remain in accordance with ideology of father of Pakistani nation Great Leader Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

However, he made clear that self-determination right of Palestine and Kashmir fall in the category of global peace and justice.

Let alone South Asia, he Senator Mushahid further said that both Palestine and Kashmir are global issues of human rights as well.

He said Mr. Jinnah had proposed common front to highlight the issues of of Palestine and Kashmir.

Senator Mushahid also cited historical facts that Muslim League, founder party of Pakistan, had begun supporting Palestine prior to establishment of Pakistan.

He referred to the resolutions which Muslim League adopted during 1930s and 1940s prior to imposition of Israel on Palestine.

The chairman senate foreign affairs committee further referred to Mr. Jinnah’s initiatives for Palestine Fund and Palestine solidarity day.
