FM Shah Mahmood accuses India of planning surgical strike on Pakistan.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said this during a press conference in UAE, where he was ending a two-day visit.

He said that he had credible information that India was planning a surgical strike against Pakistan to divert attention from its internal affairs.

Moreover, he said India was also trying to seek tacit approval for the move from its partners.

Shah Mahmood noted this as an important and serious development that has cropped up. He said he learned through intelligence forces […] that India is planning a surgical strike against Pakistan.

During the UAE visit, Shah Mahmood Qureshi held meetings with the top brass of the Emirati leadership.

He further implied that India consider some important players as her partner.

The FM said in his opinion India seeks to divert attention from serious internal issues and as a means to unify divisions in the country through it.

Meanwhile, he also noted that Pakistan had revealed “India sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan” through a dossier that it shared with the international community.

Furthermore, Qureshi mentioned the recent the EU DisinfoLab report which exposed an Indian disinformation network of fake websites and fake NGOs that they had launched with a sole objective to malign Pakistan.

While elaborating the serious internal issues facing India at the moment, the FM said the situation in Indian occupied Kashmir had never remained good but now that has deteriorated further.
