At least 2000 people may offer prayers same time in the mosque in the broader plot in a premise which also include Imam Bargah Jagir Ali Akbar (AS).
The hosts also sacrificed goat as sadqa during the foundation laying ceremony.
Meanwhile, Allama Shahenshah Naqvi talked to the media on the occasion.
He said that as a matter of fact mosques are attributed house of God Almighty. Hence, he made it clear that Shia Islamic mosques remain open to other sects as well.
Moreover, he emphasized that all Muslims need to demonstrate this spirit and wholeheartedly keep mosques open for all instead of sectarian bias.
Meanwhile, Allama Mohammad Hussain Akbar appreciated Bahria Town management for respecting all schools of thought.
He urged other housing societies to emulate this good example of Bahria Town.
Unfortunately, biased clerics and their followers act upon a divisive ideology of hatred and intolerance for other Muslims.
Due to their malicious mindset, mosques remain allocated for their own sects and they don’t tolerate other sects’ Muslims to offer prayers there.
However, many reject this divisive malpractice and raise no objection to Muslims of other schools of thought in their mosques.
