Jamia Arif Hussaini celebrates birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in Peshawar, capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
They hosted Unity of Ummah Conference to mark the celebrations. Sunni and Shia Islamic scholars participated in the event.

While citing current situation in the country, region and around the world, they called for unity of Muslims.
They said Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is centre of unity of Ummah.
Sunni and Shia clerics noted deviance from Islam and Islamic teachings the root cause of all problems which Muslims are facing with.
They urged Muslims to follow true path of Prophet Mohammad (BUH) for success in this world and hereafter.
Shia Muslims celebrate birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad – Eid Miladul Nabi (PBUH) and birth anniversary of Imam Jafar Sadiq in Rabiul Awwal every year.
Particularly, they observe Muslim Unity Week to mark weeklong celebrations. Many call it Eid Milad ul Nabi (PBUH) and many name their celebrations as Jashn-e-Sadiquaen.

On the other hand, interfaith harmony mared JDC Eid Miladul Nabi celebrations in Karachi where Christians, Hindus, Sikhs also participated, let alone Muslims.
Jafaria Disaster Management Cell (JDC) celebrates birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad – Eid Miladul Nabi – every year.
It holds a unique event in which volunteers lighten record earthen lamp in Eid Miladul Nabi (PBUH) vigil.
Politicians such as former Senator Faisal Raza Abedi, former leader of MQM Farooq Sattar, PTI’s legislator Alamgir Khan, incumbent MQM leader Amir Khan, PSP’s Waseem Aftab and Dr Sagheer also attended.
The JDC’s celebrations have become a show of unity of Sunni-Shia Muslims as well as interfaith harmony.
Renowned clerics Mufti Gulzar Naeemi, Mufti Shehryar Dawood, Jafarul Hassan Thanvi, Matloob Awan Qadri, Hindu community’s leader Vijay Maharaj and other faith leaders also attended the celebrations.
Meanwhile, JDC chairman Zafar Naqvi thanked clerics, politicians and general public for their huge participation at Milad-e-Mustafa (PBUH) Conference.
