ISO rally protests at French consulate in Karachi against President Macron because he supported French magazine’s reprinting of insulting caricatures.
Supporters of Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) took out a rally from Numaish Chowrangi and culminated at French Consulate in Karachi.

They were carrying Islamic and Pakistani flags and placards and banners.
Protesters also chanted slogans against French magazine Charlie Hebdo due to insulting caricatures.
Moreover, they also slammed French President Emanuel Macron over his unfair and insulting viewpoint against Islam and Prophet Mohammad (BUH).
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan’s deputy secretary general Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal, Allama Sadiq Taqvi and ISO leaders Ali Owais and Allama Mubashir spoke during protest.
They condemned sacrilege of sanctity of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
They rejected illogical and unfair pretext of freedom of expression, noting that Western media and regimes don’t allow discussing Holocaust related queries; especially on authenticity of losses.
Protester leaders said West don’t allow freedom of expression on this topic but they allow insulting actions against Islam and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
They demanded Pakistan government to break off all sorts of relations with France and expel French ambassador, declaring him as persona non grata.
