Mufti Gulzar Naeemi laments ban on JDC Eid Miladul Nabi celebrations which Sindh government imposed on pressure from a particular group.

Mufti Gulzar Naeemi laments ban on JDC Eid Miladul Nabi

He lamented that some “friends” gave an application to IG Sindh Police to seek ban on JDC’s Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.

He said that programmes which JDC organize strengthen unity of Muslims and the entire Pakistani nation.

Therefore, he said, to deny permission to such events of unity amounts to help advance (divisive) agenda of RAW, MOSSAD and CIA and benefit from their funds in millions.

Mufti Gulzar Naeemi asks the opponents what did they get from this ban on JDC’s Eid Miladul Nabi (PBUH) celebrations.

He said opponents have right not to participate in such events but hampering celebrations on Eid Miladul Nabi don’t benefit even themselves.

MWM asks Sunni Shia Muslims for joint Eid Miladul Nabi celebrations

Earlier, Shiite News Urdu reported that the PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had asked his party’s government in Sindh to deny permission to the JDC in this regard.

Karachi-based JDC has been hosting mammoth celebrations to mark birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) for years.

Notably, JDC’s event on the birth anniversary or Eid Miladul Nabi (PBUH) had become a symbol of interfaith and intra-Muslim unity and fraternity.

Let alone Sunni and Shia Muslims, even Sikhs, Hindus and Christian notables have attended the celebrations.

Unfortunately, Sindh government and the PPP chairman Bilawal banned this event that has evoked criticism and condemnation.

Meanwhile, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen asked Sunni Shia Muslims for joint Eid Miladul Nabi celebrations across Pakistan.

MWM Sindh chapter secretary general Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi said this, while presiding over a meeting at Wahdat House.
