CII’s Deobandi Chairman says DAESH is an incurable infection

Molvi Mohammad Khan Sherani, Chairman of Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), has said that (notorious takfiri terrorist outfit) DAESH or ISIL (ISIS) was an incurable infection.

He expressed these views speaking at an international conference of Muslim scholars against takfiri ideology that was held in Iranian holy city Qom.

Mr. Sherani is a Deobandi scholar belonging to Balochistan province and he hails from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazal Ur Rehman Group) JUIF. He led a delegation to represent Deobandi scholars at the anti-takfiri conference. Interestingly, some Pakistan takfiri groups are also Deobandis and they are being tolerated by the Deobandis who are scared of takfiri fanaticism from fellow Deobandis.

“Enemies of Islam have always pitched Muslims fanning sectarianism among them. DAESH are part of that obnoxious plot of anti-Islam forces. They are not Islamic State but as a matter of fact they are blot in the face of Islamic State,” he said.

He further said that DAESH or such other outfits were being patronized by the enemies of Islam to distort the brighter face of Islam and Muslims.
