Sit-in outside Parliament House against genocide of Shia Muslims entered 7th day

shiitenews islambad protestSit in being staged outside Parliament House in Islamabad to protest against genocide of Shia Muslims has entered 7th day on Wednesday. Target killings of Shia Muslims in Gilgit-Baltistan, Karachi and Quetta have evoked sit-in protest.
Former Chief of ISI Gen. (Rtd.) Hameed Gul, Riaz Fatyana, MNA, of ruling coalition, and Kishwar Zahra, MQM’s MNA visited the camp of sit-in. They exchanged views with Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen. Earlier and later, Haider Abbas Rizvi of MQM and legislators belonging to the PMLQ, have also visited the camp.
Hameed Gul said that external hand was involved in Chilas Tragedy. Many people of Gilgit Baltistan province were killed in Chilas tragedy. Mr. Gul condemned the act of terrorism.
The MNAs who visited the camp also condemned the Chilas Tragedy and expressed their sympathy with the victims.
Maulana Amin Shaheedi, deputy secretary general of the MWM received them at the camp. He said that terrorists involved in the Chilas Tragedy and other murders were not arrested. He said that terrorists of banned outfits were freely doing what they deem fit. He said that the banned terrorist outfit always claimed responsibility for genocide of Shia Muslims in the past.
MWM has announced that Friday would be observed as Youm-e-Aza (mourning day).
Political parties’ representatives continue to visit the camp of sit-in. They have expressed their sympathy and support to the legitimate demands of the MWM. The MWM wants end to genocide of Shia Muslims, acceptance of Charter of Demand of Gilgit-Baltistan’s Shia Muslims and of whole of the country.
