Allama Raja Nasir calls Dilawar Abbas to praise steadfastness in Multan where he had undergone imprisonment for leading Arbaeen mourning anniversary.

During his telephonic conversation, he appreciated Shia Muslim mourners of Multan who hadn’t bowed to illegal and immoral pressure from anti-azadari elements.

He also spoke to Syed Nasir Abbas Zaidi, father of detained brothers.

He said he salutes Dilawar Abbas and all other mourners who preferred to undergo imprisonment instead of accepting ban on Arbaeen mourning processions.

Dilawar Abbas has remained district organiser of MWM Multan chapter in the past.

He thanked Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan’s secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari for support.

Police put them behind the bars after having them arrested them from their houses for their active role in planning Arbaeen mourning procession.

Earlier, a sit in protest held in Multan against witchhunt which the pro-Saudi fifth column ordered which the pro-Saudi fifth column have ordered against Shia Muslims.

The officials had called Mehr Sakhawat Ali of MWM South Punjab chapter on the pretext of negotiations.

During so-called meeting at Mumtazabad police station, the police cops arrested him.

Finally, police had to release them due to efforts of MWM secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari.

Those released included: Syed Dilawar Abbas Zaidi, Syed Tahir Raza Zaidi, Syed Haider Raza Zaidi, Karbalai Nasir Hussain, Ghazanfar Mehdi and Hassan Raza.
