Many Sunni and Shia Muslims hoist Alam Pak, Islamic flag on rooftops of their houses as a gesture of reverence for Hazrat Abbas Alamdar.

Abbas Alamdar was flag bearing commander of Imam Hussain-led Martyrs of Karbala.

In lexicon of Pakistan and India, people call this holy flag as Alam or Alam Pak.

Generally, people of subcontinent revere Martyrs of Karbala and particularly Imam Hussain due to his matchless opposition to Yazid Ibn Muavia-led Umayyad tyranny in 61 A.H.

In subcontinent, Saudi Wahhabi monarchy poisoned Muslims through recruitment, funding and full patronage.

Mostly, multitudes of Deobandi sect converted to Saudi Wahhabism, the ideology of hate, intolerance, bigotry and terrorism.

Veteran Shia Islamic scholar and leader Allama Sajid Naqvi is known as a symbol of unity of Muslims. He always preached unity of Muslims and for that he played active and leading role.
