MQM delegation meet MWM leaders and laud Shias role for intra-Muslim unity in Pakistan.

Deputy Convenor Amir Khan led Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan delegation during meeting with Allama Baqir Zaidi, secretary general MWM Sindh chapter.

They praised role of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen for the sake of inter-sectarian and interfaith harmony in Pakistan.

MPA Abbas Jafari, member Rabita Committee Abdul Haseeb and Javed Akhtar accompanied him.

Ali Hussain Naqvi, Allama Mubashir, Allama Sadiq Jafari, Maulana Ghulam Abbas, Mir Taqi Zafar, Arif Raza and other key officials of MWM accompanied Allama Syed Baqi Zaidi.

Both sides discussed current situation across the country and particularly in Karachi and rest of Sindh province.

After the meeting, they addressed a joint press conference where Allama Baqir Zaidi condemned takfiri slogans of outlawed terror groups.

He said that faces of those seeking Sunni-Shia riots are being unmasked. He said takfiri slogans of banned outfits amount to flagrant violation of National Action Plan.

Appeal to PM and COAS

MWM leader asked Prime Minister and Chief of the Army Staff to take notice of aforesaid developments and ensure implementation NAP.

He urged them to take stern action against outlawed terrorist groups and those inciting people fanning sectarianism.
Meanwhile, Amir Khan said MQM-P has launched efforts to strengthen Sunni-Shia Islamic unity.

MQM leaders vowed their allegiance to Imam Hussain and condemned those who raised slogans in favour of Umayyad tyrant Yazid.

They said they are Hussainis and have come out as a follower of Imam Hussain against Umayyad tyranny – Yazidism.

Amir Khan said that India and Israel are making efforts to create disunity among people on religious and sectarian basis. He said that for last seven decades, external enemy have remained engaged in hatching conspiracy against national security of Pakistan.

Pakistan cradle of peace

However, he vowed that Pakistan would neither recognize Israel as a state and nor would normalize relations.

Amir Khan said that together with the MWM, MQM would make Pakistan cradle of peace.

He said they would meet Ulema of all religious schools of thought for consultation and then host a grand meeting of all religious schools of thought for intra-Muslims unity and cohesion.

Allama Baqir Zaidi said MWM appreciates MQM-P’s efforts for intra-Muslims unity and cohesion.

He said that an organized campaign for hatemongering sectarianism has been launched in Pakistan after GCC countries normalized relations with Israel.
