MPA Zahra Naqvi condemns false police cases against Shia mourners (azadars).

She spoke on the issue of discriminatory and biased policy which remains enforced in Pakistan against Shia Muslims.

While addressing in Punjab provincial legislature, the female lawmaker drew attention towards witch-hunt against Shia Muslims.

She reminded the government that Constitution of Pakistan recognizes and guarantees religious rights of all citizens.

Hence, she urged the government to do needful to stop registration false cases which violates Constitutional rights of Shia Muslims.

MPA Zahra Naqvi asked why police registered cases against holding of azadari (mourning) congregations and processions.

She lamented that Punjab (Kamoke Gujranwala) police had registered case against a 3-year-old Shia Muslim boy due to azadari (mourning) congregation at his house.

On the other hand, Rajanpur police register case against writing Ali Ali on house wall despite the fact that people use these words and write in reverence of Maula Amirul Maumineen Hazrat Ali (AS).
