Pakistan witness 9th Moharram Tasua sacred mourning processions today (Saturday).
According to Radio Pakistan, the 9th of Muharram is being observed throughout the country today with due solemnity and sanctity to pay homage to Imam Hussain-led companions in Karbala.

It reported that nation is paying homage to the sacrifice which Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH) and his companions (PBUT) rendered in Karbala.
Taazia and Zuljanah processions taken out in different parts of the country today in memory of martyrs of Karbala are heading towards their destinations.
Shia Muslims and like-minded Sunnis, Hindus and Christians participate in these sacred mourning called azadari.
They beat their chest and chant Ya Hussain (AS) to remind the world
Moreover, Sunni and Shia Islamic scholars (Ulema) and Zakireen are highlighting the bright and candid teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his great companion.
In Islamabad, the main procession of Taazia and Zuljinah taken out from Markazi Imambargah G-6/2 is heading on its route.
It will culminate at the same place after passing through the traditional route.
LAHORE
In Lahore, the main procession of 9th Moharram ul Haram is being taken out from Pando Street, Islampura which after passing through different areas including Khaima e Saadat will finish at starting point in evening.
HYDERABAD
In Hyderabad, the central procession is being taken out taken out from Qadam Gah Moula Ali (Razi Allah Tala Anho) and will be culminated at Karbala Dadan Shah in the evening.
PESHAWAR
In Peshawar, the main procession taken out this morning from Imambargah Hussainia Hall, Saddar Road is heading on its tradition routes in the city.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident during the mourning processions.
Special traffic plan for the processions of 9th of Muharram ul Haram has also been chalked out.
