Sindh govt says no ban imposed on Allama Shahenshah Naqvi, respect Shia Islamic scholar.

Additional Chief Secretary Home, Government of Sindh, M Usman Chachar had earlier issued a notification.

That included the names of those religious figures whom Sindh government banned for fiery speeches.

Unfortunately, that list had contained the name of Zakir Shahenshah Naqvi which led people to understand it as Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi.

This list compelled eminent Shia Islamic scholar Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi to issue a warning to the biased and delinquent officials.

He warned he would not address any azadari congregation until removal of illegal and immoral listing and equating of him with firebrand speakers.

Shia Muslims also made this legitimate demand while announcing all out support for him.

Shortly, Sindh government corrected its notification and clarified it had not banned distinguished scholar Allama Shahenshah Naqvi.

Allama Bair Zaidi demands lifting of ban on Shia Islamic scholars since they never violate code of ethics and law.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Sindh secretary general made this demand in a statement today.

He cited even Sunnis respect and adore Shia Islamic scholars such as Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi.
