Shia religious scholar martyred by takfiri terrorists in Shikarpur

After pro-Daesh activities in all over Pakistan, takfiri nasbi terrorists ambushed an eminent Shia religious scholar leaving him martyred in Khanpur city of Sindh province’s Shikarpur district on Wednesday.

Initial report had it that Maulana Shafqat Abbas Mutaheri, an eminent Shia scholar, was fired upon by the takfiri nasbi terrorists of pro-takfiri (banned) ASWJ/Sipah-e-Sahaba. He embraced martyrdom on the spot. He was Friday prayer leader and preacher.

Shikarpur district has also been a scene of rising takfiri fanaticism. ASWJ/LeJ terrorists also made an abortive attempt by sending suicide bombers to hit well-known influential Shia politician Dr Ibrahim Jatoi of Shikarpur district. He survived the attack but his men were martyred.

A noted Shia scholar of the district Mr. Maikho was also martyred in the district. PPP failed to crush terrorist network in its home province Sindh where it secures majority support in the legislature and also is a ruling party.

Shia parties and leaders condemned the terrorist attack on Shia scholar Shafqat Abbas Mutaheri and demanded public hanging of the takfiri terrorists involved in the assassination.
