Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the PM for Overseas Pakistanis & HRD and Chairman National Tourism Coordination Board Syed Zulifkar Bukhari also posted a tweet.
In his twitter message regarding the day, he said on this day in 1947, ‘genuine’ representatives of Kashmiris announced accession to Pakistan.
He said clearly the global community failed to play their part because today in 2020 Kashmir is still oppressed and with even greater risk now with a mad Hindu supremacist regime in India.

Accession to Pakistan Day observed in occupied Kashmir, Azad Kashmir and across the world on Sunday.
Notably, Kashmiris renewed pledge to continue the struggle for freedom from Indian occupation and complete merger of Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan.
Kashmiris held programmes on both sides of the Line of Control and all over the world.
Genuine representatives of the Kashmiris unanimously passed the resolution of Kashmir’s Accession to Pakistan on 19th July 1947.
They decided so during a meeting of the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference at the residence of Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan in Srinagar.
