Iran condemns terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi.

Tehran-based Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi on Tuesday condemned a terrorist attack on Pakistan’s stock exchange in Karachi. That left a police officer and other citizens dead.

He said only way to combat the cause of terrorism is cooperation and convergence in the region.

Earlier, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack on PSX resulted in killing of five innocent people.

On Monday, Ambassador Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini posted his reaction in his tweet. He said that “defeated in all fields by valorous army of Pakistan, moribund terrorists resorted to new targeting to show their “hypothetical” strength.

He tweeted: “We categorically condemn their attack on stock exchange and hope that Pakistan will get rid of terrorist residuals.”

In Karachi, Pakistan Rangers and Police foiled a terrorist attack on the building of Pakistan Stock Exchange and killed four terrorists.

On Monday, five persons, including a police officer and security guards, embraced martyrdom.

Moreover, many others sustained injuries.

Meanwhile, separatists terrorist group Baloch Liberation Army had claimed responsibility for the attack.
