Takfiri nasbi terrorists of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ or LeJ) continued attacks on azadars at Imam Bargahs, Matami Juloous and Sabeels in all over Pakistan during holy month of Moharram.

In Punjab, takfiri terrorists attacked the mourners (azadars) in Ali Pur Chattha. They fired upon the mourners to sabotage the peaceful azadari. Some Shia Muslims were injured there.

In Karachi, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, takfiri nasbi terrorists pelted the mourners with stones at a sabeel where people were offered drinking water and soft drinks to commemorate the Great Martyrs of Karbala who were brutally assassinated after a siege under which even access to water was denied.

In Shia culture of Pakistan and India, mourning procession for Martyrs of Karbala is called Matami juloos or Juloos-e-Aza while Majlis-e-Aza means mourning congregation. Imam Bargahs are called Hussainiyeh in Iran.

In Hub, Balochistan province, azadars were attacked on return from majlis-e-aza and some of them were missing and their family believed that they were kidnapped.
