DIK Commissioner approached to stop illegal constructions on Kotli Imam Hussain.

In this regard, MWM and Tehreek Tahaffuz Shia Waqf Kotli Imam Hussain have filed an application with Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan (DIK).

Allama Ghazanfar of MWM and Bashir Jarhia of Tehreek Tahaffuz Shia Waqf called on Commissioner DIK.

They lodged strong protest over encroachment and illegal constructions over Kotli Imam Hussain.

That Shia waqf property spreads over 327 kanals and 27 marla.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Tehreek Tahaffuz Shia Waqf Kotli Imam Hussain said illegal occupiers in collusion with KP Auqaf department make constructions from time to time.

They said such illegal work saddened and angered Shia Muslim community of DIK and they would not tolerate it.

Commissioner DIK Javed Khan Marwat assured them he would ensure to stop constructions at Kotli Imam Hussain immediately.

The Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Shia Waqf Kotli Imam Hussain and Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen have been campaigning to protect Kotli Imam Hussain.

Earlier, both jointly demanded the PTI-led government’s minister Ali Amin Gandapur to honour his promise by ensuring transfer of 327 kanal and 9 marla land of Kotli Imam Hussain in Dera Ismail Khan.

Besides they had turned down boundaries wall on merely 119 kanal land of Kotli Imam Hussain (AS).

Furthermore, they also made it clear that Shia Muslims don’t need to seek permission to observe their religious and cultural rituals from anybody.

However, they said, police are informed prior to such events for security reasons and not for any other purpose.
