Allama Asadi supports Governor Punjab order regarding Quranic education at all universities of Punjab province.
In this regard, MWM Punjab chapter secretary general lauded Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar’s decision.

Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi said the governor directed universities in the province to must introduce recitation of Quran with translation as a must.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) endorsed this decision because it amounts to defeat of defeat of opponents of Islam.
He termed it a success of pro-Islam forces at universities and society.
Furthermore, he said MWM wants promotion of Islamic environment in alma maters.
Allama Asadi said that some NGOs preach vulgarity and obscenity in the name of secularism in educational institutions.
He urged the government to make the curriculum harmonious with Islamic principles.
Meanwhile, Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) also welcomed the decision.
It said Punjab Governor’s decision regarding recitation from Holy Quran with translation augurs well.
The ISO Pakistan general secretary Ali Zain called Punjab government’s efforts to promote Quranic education a laudable historic step.
He said youth can get rid of all their problems if they act upon Quranic teachings in letter and spirit.
He said the ISO has remained active for promotion of Quranic teachings and revival of Quranic order for last 40 years.
The Shia Islamic student organisation said that international NGOs have made huge investment in education sector.
Ali Zain alerted compatriots of the plot aimed at converting students to secularism and eliminating Islamic values.
