Daesh ISIS terrorist arrested in Karachi with weapons and other materials during a combined operation.
The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Sindh police arrested late on Friday arrested Daesh terrorist, with input from the federal intelligence agency.

During the operation, the SIU said it recovered weapons and other material from the possession of the suspect.
Police identified Daesh terrorist as Sikandar Khan, who also confessed to his association with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan before 2019.
In 2013, police arrested him in several cases including incidents of terrorism.
The authorities had transferred Sikandar to Mardan jail and reportedly released him after serving prison time.
During investigation, the terrorist also confessed to involvement in extortion activities in the past year.
The SIU further said that Sikandar Khan also sent extortion threat to Dr Siraj in the jurisdiction of PIB police station.
Upon refusal to pay the said amount, he conducted a bomb-and-fire attack at the doctor’s clinic.
Police registered case against him on terrorism and other charges.
The SIU said the terrorist also sought extortion money from a citizen named Haleem in Korangi.
The concerned police station booked him under similar charges.
Now, the SIU is conducting raids to apprehend the other accomplices besides conducting forensic investigation of the weapons they seized from him.
