Saudi-funded Islamic University promotes Zionist Culture to overshadow Moharram

When Muslim World is bracing to mourn the macabre Karbala Tragedy during Moharram, Saudi-funded University in Pakistani capital began celebrating the first month of Islamic Calendar’s year by promoting Zionist Israeli culture.

Saudi-funded International Islamic University is holding a festival on the eve of Moharram in which Israeli Culture and Custom is projected. The banner identified the regime as Land of Peace and Prosperity and welcomed the visitors to that land.

Wahhabi-Salafi ideology of Mohammad bin Abdul Wahhab al-Najdi has no respect for Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) and his Ahl-e-Bait (AS). Followers of Wahhabi ideology always attacked the holy shrines of infallible Imams in Iraq and also in Iran. They also demolished the shrines and graves in Mecca and Jannat ul Baqi in Medina where apart from Ahl-e-Bait (AS), companions of the Holy Prophet, were also buried.

Followers of the anti-Islam Wahhabi ideology have tried their level best to divert people from the sanctity of Moharram and also from azadari, sacred mourn for Imam Hussain (AS). First, they wrongly termed Moharram 1 as the death anniversary of Hazrat Umar, the Caliph. And after failing to woo Muslims, Wahhabis began celebrating New Year on Moharram 1. It is also contempt for Hazrat Umar because Wahhabis celebrate his death anniversary by so doing.
