Allama Sajid Naqvi says Battle of Badr brought defeat to the big army at the hands of a smaller army.
Shia Ulema Council founder leader said this in his message on the anniversary of Ghazwa-e-Badr that Muslims celebrate on 17th Ramazan every year.

He said that for the first time in the history, a minor army of only 313 inflicted crushing defeat upon the relatively bigger and well-equipped army at Badr.
He further said that Muslims had unwavering trust in God and they acted upon the orders of God’s Apostle/Prophet during Battle of Badr.
Allama Sajid Naqvi said that message of Battle of Badr’s victory had it that Muslims need to follow those faithful followers of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) to defeat enemies of Islam and Muslims.
Meanwhile, MWM leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari said Battle of Badr shows victory linked with complete faith in God and his Prophet, said
He said that Ghazwa Badr remains an incontrovertible proof that advanced weapons and edge of manpower don’t guarantee victory in wars.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan secretary general said this in his message on the anniversary of Ghazwa Badr.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari said that steadfastness with full faith (in God and his orders which he sent through his infallible Prophet/Apostle).
